Why portals reject signature uploads
Online application forms are strict about signatures for a simple reason: their systems display them in a small fixed box. So they demand a small file — typically 10 KB to 20 KB as a JPG, often with pixel dimensions like 140×60 — while your phone photographs that same signature at 3 MB and 4000 pixels wide. The rejection message rarely explains this; it just says “invalid file.”
